We are looking for talented individuals with the experience and motivation to join our innovative, fast-paced Precisely Team.YOUR ROLE AT PRECISELY Our Support Engineers are skilled technical professionals that will support our Rapid CX application. The Support Engineer will have a thorough understanding of the Rapid CX application and develop scripts and tools for troubleshooting complex application issues and monitoring client production. This position is responsible for maintaing our applications in a fast paced environment.
You Will:

• Issue Resolution: Responsible for tier 1 and tier 2 issue identification and problem determination. Work with cross functional teams toward issue resolution.
• Production activity analysis: Be able to read and understand logs from web, middleware and workflow applications. Effectively communicate findings to operational and development teams and collaborate on mitigation or remediation efforts.
• Scripting Development: Utilize Linux commands (Bash shell, Python) to search through log files and correlate with production configuration files to identify error conditions, managing client processing workflows and monitoring file system usage.
• System Monitoring: Monitor production processes and applications that must remain operable 24/7 to meet client service level aggreements
• Production Management: Manually process client input and outbound files by retrieving from archive file systems and dropping files back in for procution processing. Work with client teams to remediate issues and client requests.
• Release Management: Participate in monthly and ad-hoc software releases across multiple environments.
• Disaster Recovery: Participate in quarterly disaster recovery exercises. Collaborate with operational teams to improve and solidify procedures and execution.
• Service Requests: Manage external and internal requests in areas such as monitoring, reporting, process improvement and production processing.
• Documentation: Update client documentation based on issue remediation and production activity analysis.You Have:
  • Provide how many years of experience is required for this role - 3 years experience supporting production activities in a Linux environment
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college (5 years of Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash shellPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
    • Perl and Python scripting
    • Knowledge of XML, JSON
    • Knowledge of Adobe
    • Familiarity with Salesforce/Jira or other CRM systems
