iSphere is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a remote, contract to perm compelling opportunity!!! In this role, the consultant will be responsible for the management and maintaining of our client's security software, hardware, and processes. They will work to ensure the stable operation of the entire security environment and will manage the environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards . Responsibilities to include: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of security hardware and software to protect operations Ensure security-related hardware and software is kept up-to-date with the latest firmware and patches that are released Managing the deployment of anti-virus agents with the System Administrators and ensuring 100% coverage across all assets Managing, tuning, and monitoring the email protection software P rovide feedback to Management on how to improve existing security processes and procedures Provide support on root cause analyses of any security events and create requested documentation to support findings for Management Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure Creating and revising technical documentation / infrastructure diagrams, Visio or PowerPoint Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures Participating (as necessary) in all aspects of regulatory compliance, including performing aspects of internal audits, overseeing third party audits, and creating audit reports Work with the Network Team to optimize security while maintaining the effectiveness of network traffic Implement a BYOD policy as defined by Management so that teammates can use devices on the client network in a secure fashion while protecting corporate data Required Skills: 5+ years' experience working with Palo Alto firewalls (rules, VPN tunnels, etc.) 3+ years' experience working with ProofPoint TAP Suite 3+ years' experience working with Microsoft InTune 3+ years' experience supporting a VMWare environment 2+ years' experience working with Duo multi-factor authentication 3+ years' experience working in an environment with an SDWAN deployment 3+ years' experience implementing network segmentation Ability to work with various IT groups to implement cloud-based security such as CASB, DLP, WAF, virtualized firewalls, etc. Desirable Skills: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification Experience working in a SOC2-compliant environment Experience deploying, maintaining, and scaling virtualized security iSphere provides our potential consultants with direct access to top area clients and decision makers frequently resulting in a quicker interview and hiring process.
