JMH -and OptumInsight are working together to advance high quality, convenient and affordable health care to consumers in the San Francisco Bay Area. A nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care organization located -east of San Francisco, John Muir Health -serves patients in Contra Costa, Alameda and southern Solano Counties. The health system -includes a network of more than 1,000 primary care and specialty physicians, more than 6,000 employees, two acute care medical centers, six outpatient centers, numerous physician offices and a Behavioral Health Center.What we do: -Optum provides managed services across a broad set of non-clinical functions for John Muir Health, including information technology, revenue cycle management, analytics, purchasing and strategic transformation initiatives. Optum will also help accelerate their ability to deliver value-based care by managing its ambulatory care coordination, specifically in the areas of case management and utilization management, and managing the administrative operations for John Muir's delegated risk business.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage Network LAN and WAN for Data Centers and remote locations
  • Configure, Troubleshoot and optimize Routers, Core switches, L2 & L3 switches, Load Balancers, WAN circuits (MPLS, P2P), and Wireless devices (such as Cisco Meraki)
  • Advanced knowledge of Catalyst, Nexus switches, ACI, and Nexus mode configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Good hands-on experience and advanced skills in Configure, troubleshoot, Optimize and automation on Cisco devices for Routing, Switching, Wireless, WAN & Network Virtualization
  • Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of network environment on Azure, including connectivity methods, VPNs, and Load balancers
  • Apply security updates and manage access, logging, and auditing of all cisco devices
  • Analyzing existing hardware, software, and networking systems
  • Able to configure Disaster Recovery on Network load-balancers and DNS servers for On-premise and Azure
  • Able to do capacity and performance management for servers, storage virtualization environment
  • Monitor network environment for issues and troubleshoot problems and outages
  • Troubleshoot issues with and between cloud and on-prem server environments
  • Collaborate with architects on optimization and transformation projects
  • Participate in the implementation projects
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, development, exercises, and actual events -
  • Adhere to Security and Compliance processes and guidelines to ensure a secure infrastructure
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of infrastructure and server standards, configurations, and procedures
  • Collects analyze and interpret data to evaluate solutions and inform business decisions and recommendations
  • Participation in a remote on-call rotation required (25% rotation, on-call coverage is remote via cell phone, dispatch may be required for on-prem resources for issues requiring "hands on")You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience on Cisco stack of hardware and software for LAN, WAN, and wireless devices
    • 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role
    • 2+ years of analytic and problem-solving experience
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Visio
    • Proficiency with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
    • Participation in a remote on-call rotation required (25% rotation, on-call coverage is remote via cell phone, dispatch may be required for on-prem resources for issues requiring "hands on")

      • Bachelor's degree
      • Proficiency with MS Project
      • CCNP certification
      • 5+ years of experience working on Cisco networking
      • 3+ years of experience on Managing network architecture and optimization
      • Hands-on experience with -the Avaya Telecom system
      • Experience supporting IaaS in an Azure environment

      • Hands on experience with ISE
      • Hands on experience with Netscaler
