Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A K-12 educational opportunity is available for a
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized support
for one student in the Atlanta area. This contract position will
focus on delivering targeted instruction and assistance from March
17 to May 22, 2026, during a leave coverage assignment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized teaching tailored to a
Deaf/Hard of Hearing student. Collaborate with school staff to
support students educational goals. Provide direct instruction
Monday through Friday from 10:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. EST. Develop
and implement individualized education plans in alignment with
state requirements. Monitor and document student progress
throughout the assignment. Qualifications: Active Georgia
Department of Education certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing
education. Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in
a K-12 setting. Ability to maintain a strict schedule and adapt
instruction to meet specific student needs. Excellent communication
and collaboration skills. Willingness to work 7.5 to 10 hours per
week during designated times. Location: Atlanta, GA (virtual
candidates may be considered with appropriate coordination). This
