Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This position focuses on providing specialized
educational support to a high school student who is Deaf or Hard of
Hearing. The role requires delivering ASL II instruction to help
the student meet graduation requirements. Location: Atlanta, GA
(Central Atlanta) Duration: Contract assignment from March 17,
2026, through May 22, 2026 Responsibilities: Provide ASL II
instruction tailored to the needs of one high school student
Support the student's language acquisition and academic progress
toward graduation Collaborate with educational teams to ensure
effective communication and learning strategies Maintain
documentation and track progress in accordance with school and
district guidelines Qualifications: Active Georgia Department of
Education certification as Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
Experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing,
preferably at the high school level Strong knowledge of American
Sign Language and Deaf culture Ability to develop individualized
instruction plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills
