Responsibilities: Conduct business with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors to negotiate profitable contracts Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget Oversee the work of all general contractors and their laborers and guide as necessary to ensure high-quality work Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code Work with crews to make sure the job is done from start to finish Qualifications: Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills Experience using construction or project management software preferred Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management About Company Breakwater Roofing and Restoration is a southeastern-based full-service general contracting company.
