Job Description Job Description Job Summary : The Senior Project
Manager leads architectural projects from conception through
completion, with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget management.
This role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing
client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of
design projects within the allocated timeframe and budget. Primary
Essential Functions: • Lead the planning, development, and
execution of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with
project scope, timeline, and budget. • Serve as the primary point
of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining
strong relationships and ensuring regular communication. • Develop
detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans,
monitoring progress to ensure timely and within-budget project
delivery. • Oversee the coordination and integration of various
disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical
engineering, to ensure cohesive project outcomes. • Identify
project risks early on, developing mitigation strategies and
resolving issues to avoid disruptions in project timelines. •
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to
clients and senior management, addressing project milestones,
challenges, and next steps. • Ensure adherence to building codes,
safety standards, and zoning laws throughout the project lifecycle,
managing necessary permits and approvals. • Manage project team
members, including mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on
technical and project management aspects. • Oversee the quality
control process for design and construction documentation, ensuring
that project deliverables meet both internal and client standards.
• Coordinate and participate in site visits and inspections to
review the progress of construction and ensure compliance with
approved plans and specifications. • Oversee financial aspects of
projects, including tracking expenses, approving invoices, and
ensuring the profitability of the project. • Engage in continuous
improvement efforts by evaluating project outcomes and
incorporating lessons learned into future projects. • Negotiate
contracts with consultants and contractors, ensuring favorable
terms and alignment with project goals. • Collaborate with business
development teams to support proposal development for future
projects and participate in client presentations as needed. •
Ensure project closeout activities, such as punch list resolution
and post-occupancy evaluations, are completed satisfactorily.

and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work

adjusting to evolving challenges. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities): Knowledge • In-depth knowledge of project management
principles and practices in the architecture field. • Understanding
of architectural design processes, building systems, and
construction methods. • Familiarity with building codes, zoning
laws, and safety standards. • Knowledge of financial management,
including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. •
Awareness of risk management strategies and methodologies. Skills •
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft
Project, Primavera). • Strong leadership and organizational skills
for managing large teams and multidisciplinary coordination. •
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting
with clients, contractors, and team members. • Advanced
problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop mitigation
strategies. • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project
documentation and reports. Abilities • Ability to lead multiple
complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Ability to
manage client relationships and foster trust through clear
communication and problem resolution. • Ability to make informed
decisions under pressure, ensuring project continuity. • Ability to
mentor and guide junior staff in both technical and project
management aspects. • Ability to adapt to changing project
conditions and deliver innovative solutions to challenges.
Qualifications: Required • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture,
Construction Management, or a related field. • 8-10 years of
project management experience in architecture or construction.
Preferred • PMP certification or other relevant project management
training. Physical Requirements : • Ability to remain seated for
extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
• Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers,
keyboards, telephones, and printers. • Occasional light physical
activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to 25
lbs.). • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person,
