Job Description Job Description Maintenance Supervisor Maintenance Supervisor - 1st SHIFT Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the effective operation of machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role involves implementing maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to maintain a high standard of production. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team activities to ensure operational efficiency. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment in the food processing facility. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts. Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols. Collaborate with production management to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Qualifications Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in food production or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and health and safety regulations in the food industry. Familiarity with food processing equipment and machinery, particularly in protein production. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Strong organizational and communication skills.
