We are looking for a Senior Director, Paid Media and Performance Marketing will lead one of our largest channels, paid search marketing to drive quality traffic to our sites while maximizing our marketing investment. They will manage our paid media efforts across all paid media channels, including testing into new platforms, expanding our current mix of channels all to drive quality traffic while maximizing our marketing investment and building a culture within the team and across partners that is focused on performance and optimization through relentless testing, evolution of our programs, and evaluation of programs to deliver against channel KPIs. This person will develop a team of performance marketing associates and agency partners to deliver best in class programs and performance and be responsible for maximizing our marketing investment to drive quality traffic to our Rent. family of sites. This leader, along with both the internal team and agency partners, will manage all paid media efforts and performance marketing channels. A Day in the Life

• Redefine how we think about our media mix and investment strategy for Rent. across Paid Search and Paid Media programs to deliver more quality leads at a greater efficiency.
• Responsible for oversight and partnership with our agencies, in order to have better understanding and full confidence in our selected agency.
• Articulate Paid Media strategy for leadership that ensures our efforts match the goals of the organization.
• Will build a team of paid media professionals that have a sense of urgency to drive continued optimizations that will push the program forward.
• Their team will be curious about the industry - both marketing and multi-family and the trends impacting how we market. What We Need From You .
  • 10-15+ years of experience within performance and paid marketing in highly complex, AI / ML driven environment
  • 10+ years' experience leading and managing agencies along with internal teams with "hands on the keyboard" experience building and optimizing campaigns and programs
  • 10+ years' experience presenting complex ideas and programs to senior levels across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully grow marketing programs through efficiencies not just incremental investment
  • Strong analytical, project management, and story-telling ability. Ability to turn data into a persuasive and concise story
