The Manager of Acquisitions Marketing Strategy is responsible for planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives that generate leads and drive new customer enrollments to support the Company's growth and business objectives. This role will lead the acquisition marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing as well as Product, Sales, Analytics, and other departments as needed to develop strategic lead acquisition marketing plans utilizing multi-channel lead sources.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Can synthesize target audience research insights, segmentation/behavioral data, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve marketing and business results
  • Thrives on the opportunity to lead and build new opportunities in an undefined space, collaborate and drive for results
  • Is able to create and operate in a systems level view of marketing, specifically at the customer journey level, across channels, through the funnel
  • Understands current martech capabilities in the marketplace and is able to connect our martech capabilities to marketing possibilities across targeting, creative, and experience
  • Is able to map out a cross-channel customer journey and can build and execute a strategy to optimize our marketing across it
  • Is able to structure analytical requests and confident with interpreting analysis
  • Is able to break a strategy down into a structured testing plan / learning agenda
  • Can write and oversee the team's delivery of clear and concise creative briefs, test documents, test plans and strategies, driving continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels
  • Can manage the details of their own and a team's multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work
  • Positive, professional, determined, calm and focused when faced with challenging situations.

  • Skilled relationship-builder who can influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking Requirements:
    • Proven experience to operate at the systems level view of marketing and develop strategies using insights and analysis to acquire new customers in new and established markets
    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of digital B2B or B2C marketing experience in strategy, project planning or marketing execution (client-side or agency)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team of 3+ people or managing the work of a team of a team of 3+ people
    • Exceptional leadership skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing the mindsets and marketing skills and talents to create an effective team Preferred:
      • Breadth of marketing functional and tactical experience preferred, such as:
      • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
      • Experience developing marketing materials, including but not limited to website, Google Ads, sales support materials, HTML, emails, landing pages, presentations, print ads, etc.
      • Experience working in marketing automation systems, such as Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Eloqua, etc., creating HTML emails and landing pages.
      • Experience designing websites and/or working in CMS website platforms, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! , etc., and/or portal platforms such as Liferay.
      • Experience working in marketing automation systems, such as Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, Eloqua, etc., creating HTML emails and landing pages.
      • Experience with SEO and Google Analytics.
      • Background in the automotive or finance industry.
        Targeted Compensation: $101,500 - $135,400 + an annual bonus plan
