Who You'll Work With You'll work in one of our offices in North America within our Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice (GM&S).You'll support cutting-edge efforts to help lead companies accelerate growth by enhancing their CRM and digital capabilities. You will also join McKinsey's Growth Tech practice and work closely with technologies. You'll work alongside Salesforce design and delivery colleagues from S4G, a leading platinum Salesforce consulting partner, which McKinsey acquired in 2022. You will also work with other areas of McKinsey's Marketing & Sales practice, including analysts & data scientists, agile prototyping and transformation experts, and digital design specialists to provide a differentiating and distinctive capabilities for clients and their customers.McKinsey's GM&S practice helps clients in consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of growth topics, including branding, customer lifecycle management, marketing ROI, eCommerce, pricing and margin optimization, and sales and channel management. Our practice brings experts in business consulting, data science, frontline capability building, and technology delivery to design and implement customer centricity that accelerates growth.What You'll DoYou will propose specific tech-enablement solutions, centered in, that implement high-value business improvements.You will define the functional and technical aspects required to capture value, and build roadmaps and delivery plans to implement these requirements. You will provide expert oversight to McKinsey's technical team in the design, build, and delivery of client Salesforce environments. You will bring functional and technical expertise to address challenging issues, including technical architecture & integrations, governor limits, and object modeling across the SFDC environment and other core platforms. You will also provide trusted counsel to clients to ensure they receive, deploy, and leverage Salesforce enhancements to achieve business goals.You will build and maintain expertise across the platform, to support client development, client service, and mentorship of junior colleagues. You will also lead practice-building initiatives (e.g., learning, knowledge, and client development). Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical degree; master's degree is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in IT system design and implementation, including 5+ years working primarily with programs
  • SFDC Certification and experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud required; certification in Marketing Cloud and CPQ also desired
  • Experience in presenting and communicating SFDC architecture and roadmap to client executives
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (waterfall and agile) adapted to implementations
  • Experience in solution definitions to match the solution design specifications
  • Experience advising a team of functional consultants on all aspects surrounding the delivery of SFDC sales and marketing solution architecture
  • Experience in complex negotiation regarding scope changes, planification and implementation methodology
  • Knowledge of other CRM solutions
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and actionable recommendations from data and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with peers and inspire junior colleagues
