We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, creative problem solver to join our fun, collaborative, and fast-paced marketing communications team at Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

The marketing manager is mainly responsible for overseeing the management of our paid digital marketing and advertising campaigns across multiple channels and project managing and owning several other content marketing initiatives. Working closely with our creative team and media agency, you will develop our paid advertising campaigns and track and analyze results.
You will also generate ideas and supervise the execution of new content for several different initiatives and manage our weekly newsletter and other email marketing initiatives.
You will stay on top of new technology and industry trends and find opportunities to ensure the organization fully leverages every opportunity to increase brand awareness and lead generation in all channels.

    • Coordinate and execute paid digital marketing campaigns, including search, programmatic, social, and video.
    • Analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • Manage media agency relationships, as well as campaign budgets and schedules.
    • Own and maintain metrics reporting.
    • Identify trends and insights and find opportunities to optimize spending and increase ad performance.
    • Work with the production manager and creative team to develop creative assets.
    • Manage some of our email marketing campaigns and weekly newsletter.
    • Work with the creative team to create high-converting landing pages for ads.
    • Oversee changes and update content on several websites as needed.
    • Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion, and optimization.
    • Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and best practices.
    • Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.
      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field, required.
      • 2-4 years of Marketing Communications experience and a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape required.
      • Ad agency experience is a plus.
        • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing reporting and data analysis.
        • Experience with email marketing and knowledge of online email management platforms.
        • Organized and detail-oriented with solid time management skills.
        • Be independent & collaborative: work with a high degree of autonomy and work cross-functionally with teams.
        • Able to respond to deadlines and manage multiple projects.
        • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality work.
        • Creative thinker who is an assertive problem solver.
        • Knowledge of Mailchimp and CRM platform.
        • Familiar with the process of creating landing pages. Unbounce preferred.
