WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Digital Marketing team plays a significant role in a broad range of marketing work being done within Primrose Schools. The team serves Franchise Owners to support their digital footprint in addition to managing the brand's websites, business listings, and email marketing. Our ideal Digital Marketing Specialist approaches their work with a service mindset and establishes effective relationships with all kinds of people. Additionally, s/he embraces curiosity and seeks to understand things that are unfamiliar and challenges the status quo.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute specific areas of our digital marketing strategy that supports enrolling new parents and families, generating leads for new franchise owners, and recruitment marketing including:
  • Creating and updating web pages and content within our content management system based on brand standards, accessibility, and SEO best practices
  • Supporting website design and functionality optimizations with thorough review of new features to improve conversion
  • Implementation of website experimentation opportunities within A/B testing tool, and subsequent monitoring and reporting of results, and documentation of learnings to inform future strategies and tests
  • Managing search engine optimization at the brand and school level to improve awareness, traffic and site performance, including continuous optimization and regular reporting on progress
  • Driving leads by maintaining accuracy of business information on our business listings and working with platform vendor to uncover any opportunities to optimize fields and processes
  • Execute email campaigns in email marketing platform, including list updates, email build, test, deploy and reporting
  • Coordinating with the Paid Search team to ensure the website is appropriately supporting that program
  • Serve as project manager for our internal digital ticketing system to ensure that questions and concerns are being addressed in a timely and accurate manner. Look for patterns in the questions being asked in order to make proactive recommendations for training and communications.
  • Manage the digital pre-opening process for schools in the development pipeline, including school name research (e.g. considering SEO opportunity), setting up new business listings, sites and other channels.
  • Create and update user guides related to digital platforms and processes.
  • Help compile reports and dashboards to monitor effectiveness of digital projects and initiatives at the school, market, and brand levels.
  • Work with our external agencies and internal teams to ensure that assigned projects are completed on time and on budget.
    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe seek to build teams of individuals who maintain trusted relationships, demonstrate accountability, influence without authority, have a service mindset, agility and curiosity. Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:
    • 2-4 years of digital marketing experience
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience with Google Analytics (Universal and/or GA4) and email marketing platforms
    • Familiarity with platforms such as: Google My Business, Yext, Optimizely, Mailchimp and SEMRush a plus
    • Understands basic principles of HTML and CSS
    • Proven ability to work with teams cross-functionally
    • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
    • Franchise Experience is helpful, but not required
