Reports to: Manager, Digital Marketing & Operations Summary / Objective: The Marketing Operations Manager will report to the Manager, Digital Marketing & Operations and lead the design and execution of QGenda's marketing automation, lead management process, contact database management, and reporting. The team member will have a passion for data and analytics and will be responsible for tracking the performance of marketing campaigns and activities. The Marketing Operations Manager excels in operations that facilitate scalability, predictability, and efficiency of marketing operations. You enjoy operating at both strategic and tactical levels. You can collaborate with marketing teams to execute the technical components of marketing campaigns and deliver reporting and insights to provide visibility into marketing results. You enjoy working with sales and facilitate the exchange of MQL's to sales through technology in an efficient manner.-- The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have fun shifting to adapt to changing market needs. You like to collaborate with forward-thinking teams, including the broader marketing team, sales, and customer success to develop innovative programs that drive results. You're also highly data driven and like to track results and measure success of your marketing programs. You love what you do and are passionate about marketing and technology. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages ongoing use and execution of marketing activities through marketing automation tools. Executes outbound emails, managing and planning drip programs using Marketo.
  • Integrates marketing technology tools to facilitate execution of marketing initiatives, lead management and reporting.
  • Manages all marketing reporting initiatives.--
    • Collaborates with marketing team members to understand goals and objectives of campaigns and projects.--
    • Designs and executes marketing activities in a way that captures data needed to deliver appropriate metrics.--
    • Creates and distributes marketing reports for the marketing team and executive stakeholders.--
    • Analyzes data and historical trends to provide insight and recommendations informing marketing strategy.
    • Owns the marketing contact database and plans strategies to effectively manage, segment and grow the database.--
      • Ensures appropriate contact data points are captured and used to strategically target the right audience at the right time with the right message.
      • Understands the market and landscape, providing data and insight into market opportunities.--
        • Provides supporting data and contacts to support execution of marketing campaigns in target markets identified.
        • Understands customer buying journey and uses technology to guide prospects and customers through that journey.--
          • Develops process for lead scoring and metrics for conversion.--
          • Defines Marketing Qualified Leads and Sales Qualified Leads and uses technology to track leads as they move through the lead follow-up and opportunity development process.
          • Collaborates with the marketing and sales team to execute and track success of Account Based Marketing initiatives.
          • Owns technology vendor relationships and enables optimization of technology to support marketing programs.
          • Leverage industry best practices to ensure that we're getting the most out of our current Martech stack, and constantly be looking for new ideas and technologies to enhance it
          • Create best-practices for A/B testing measurement and optimization
          • Constantly review and optimize in-flight campaigns, delivering recommendations and action items in a timely and effective manner Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
            • Strong Marketo expertise, particularly using Marketo integrated to Salesforce
            • Experience with marketing automation, back-end martech system implementation, email marketing, and lead nurturing experience
            • Proficient in Salesforce
            • Experience with Bizible a plus
            • Strong analytical and data analysis skills (Google analytics, tableau, datastudio, etc.)
            • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
            • Strong "figure it out mentality", creative-thinking, interpretation and problem solving skills.--
              • Propensity to always be testing and learning.

                • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience.
