A critical component of this networked organization is the creation of Platform Services to become the new backbone of our operating structure through a network of globally scaled services. Marketing & PACS platform services is one of the critical service hubs. This role is on the PACS Services team which is responsible for providing global creative, digital, and data services that enable the company to achieve its PACS (Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability) objectives. PACS Services is seeking a Global Director of Social Listening and Publishing Services to lead the proactive and strategic engagement of our stakeholders in the digital world and better equip company leadership to manage risk. What You---ll Do for Us: Create a vision, strategy, and roadmap for a global social listening and digital publishing service including both proactive and crisis management which supports the PACS functions--- business strategy and goals across internal and external stakeholder communication and engagement, corporate reputation, sustainability, and more Build upon the success and learnings of the predecessor team established in 2020 to test the value of providing this service at a global scale Foster and maintain relationships with key contacts at the major social channels to ensure PACS needs are met and that we are current on latest offerings Partner with Marketing & PACS Services counterparts to ensure strategy and messages are integrated with marketing communications and cascaded across the regional CICs (Consumer Interaction Centers) Build and lead a team who will Develop and execute on listening strategies across internal and external stakeholder groups and relevant topics Partner with the PACSs function and internal and external creative agencies to develop and execute on a proactive editorial calendar which spans social, the corporate website, and other syndicated/relevant digital end points Manage the corporate website including making configuration changes and publishing content based on direction from the PACS Digital Product Manager Develop media plans and execute media buys in support of business objectives Provide follow the sun support for crisis management Qualifications & Requirements: Functional Skills: Digital Fluency: You are expert in social networks and the techniques for tapping into them to gain insight and know when to respond or not to crises. You are adept at putting together a cross-channel digital connections plan to achieve successful business outcomes. Cross Functional Relationships: Knowledge of and ability to articulate to senior management the benefits of supporting cross-functional objectives to achieve the business plan. Global/Cultural Knowledge: Knowledge of cultural differences in different regions or countries that might impact or limit the effectiveness of marketing and PACS strategies Independent Point of View: Knowledge of the external environment in which the Company's business is conducted. Includes ability to offer a broad perspective that extends beyond a particular functional discipline (e.g., marketing, finance) and draw upon knowledge that comes from frequent interaction with different departments, employees and sources and constituencies outside of the Company. Marketing Innovation: Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas (e.g., product, packaging, merchandise, activations) in order to create a proprietary advantage for The Company. Network/Resources: Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage "best in class" knowledge, approaches and processes. Vendor Management: The ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures. Related Work Experience: Minimum of 8 - 10 years of work experience. The required focus is on the relevance of the recent work they've done as it pertains to this role. Needs to have experience working across teams and geographies in a complex, global environment leading or leveraging teams of internal and external resources. Experience in a global role preferred. Ideally needs to have worked in roles that have developed both strategic and operations capability.
