Job Description:
The Front Office Coordinator will oversee the daily check-in and
maintain streams of contact to the clinic. They provide clerical
support to patient care area(s) to ensure delivery of effective and
efficient services. Proactively supports efforts that ensure
delivery of safe patient care services and promote a safe
environment
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain Member check-in log, detailing reason for Members' visit
or ailments
- Confirm next day appointments
- Schedule follow up appointments with Clinician
- Maintaining clinic flow
- Ensure Member documentation is updated in HealthFusion
- Maintain Clinic email/voicemail and incoming calls
- Upload Member documentation to HealthFusion.
- Order office supplies and ensure emergency kit is stocked at all
times
- Enter patient demographics into HealthFusion
- Medical records request, submit referrals/diagnostic testing to
referred/requested facilities offices
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Pleasant phone manner & strong computer skills
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Experience in clinic settings a plus.
- Should be friendly and a team worker
- Positive attitude and energy is a must!!
- Dependable and willing to work
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This job may require lifting of objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:
- Pushing and/or pulling, Stooping and/or kneeling, Prolonged
periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
