You will play a key role in financial reporting, month end and year end close, and improving accounting processes. You will work closely with leadership, support smarter decision making, and gain exposure that positions you to grow quickly within the organization. What You Will Be Responsible For Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts including bank, balance sheet, and income statement accounts Lead key parts of the month end and year end close process including journal entries and accruals Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement Assist with building and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff when needed Partner with operations and leadership to support informed financial decisions Why This Role Is Rewarding You will be trusted with meaningful responsibility, not micromanaged You will gain direct exposure to leadership and decision making You will help improve systems and processes, not just maintain them You will be positioned for growth as the company continues to expand Your accuracy and insight will directly impact the business What We Are Looking For Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Three to six plus years of progressive accounting experience Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systems Advanced Excel skills Someone who is detail oriented, organized, and takes pride in their work A clear communicator who can explain financial information effectively
