  • Manage and supervise tax compliance and consulting engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns and ensure accuracy of tax calculations and compliance with tax regulations
  • Develop tax strategies and provide tax planning advice to clients
  • Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on tax law changes and developments
  • Communicate effectively with clients to discuss tax issues, answer questions, and provide guidance
  • Identify and resolve tax-related issues and provide solutions to clients
  • Train and mentor junior staff and provide feedback on their work
  • Assist with business development and marketing efforts to grow the firm's tax practiceQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • CPA certification is required
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services
    • Strong technical skills in tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and train junior staff
    • Familiarity with tax software, such as ProSystem fx and CCH Axcess Tax
