supervision, handles and resolves matters of billing and
collections for the company's delinquent premium accounts.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves complex billing and collections
issues through internal and external contacts. Produces billing
invoices, statements, and delinquent notices. Provides monthly
reporting on matters of collections. Principal Duties &
Responsibilities Identify and resolve complex billing and
collection issues. Produce billing invoices, statements, and
delinquent notices. Supervise activities of staff to ensure duties
are performed timely, accurately and efficiently. Assist staff in
the administration of premium accounting functions. Provide
customer service to internal and external customers. Monitor, train
and evaluate the performance of Premium Accounting staff. Assists
with special projects and other duties as assigned. #PJA Education
& Experience Associate's degree in accounting or a related field
with 4-5 years of experience in a related field or position. Note:
May consider hiring as a Lead Customer Accounting Specialist for
someone with previous supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills, &
Competencies Ability to research moderately complex to complex
billing and collection issues and recommend appropriate actions.
Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external
contacts involved in the billing and collection processes. Ability
to use Microsoft Office software as well as general ledger and
billing and collections applications to identify, analyze, and
resolve complex billing and collection issues. Personal &
