- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various
federal & International tax compliance and consulting services to
industry specific clients:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations,
partnerships, individuals, and corporations ranging from middle
market to multinational companies
- Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax
issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority
inquiries
- Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of
corporate and flow through taxation such as accounting methods and
ASC740
- Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share
with leadership to discuss and strategize
- Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on
complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth,
international, research and development along with credits and
incentives areas
- Advise clients on a full spectrum of federal & international
tax services including planning, research, compliance, foreign tax
credit, international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,
outbound and inbound structure planning and cross-border
transactions
- Supervise multiple federal & international tax engagements and
contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning and consulting
projects for our diverse clients
- Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends,
developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex
situations
- Provide technical guidance to tax professionals firm wide
- Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring
along with participating in firm wide learning and development
programs
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong
relationships internally and externally with clients
- Support the growth and development of team members through the
Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet
their professional goals

encourage a work-life balance QualificationsSuccessful candidates
will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, or a
relateddegree in Business
- Actively pursuing or completed CPA, MST or JD/LLM
preferred
- Two (2) + year(s) of experience, or some degree of exposure to
federal & international tax provisions, cross-border issues, and
U.S. compliance for international taxpayers such as, foreign tax
credits, controlled foreign corporations, withholding regimes and
tax treaties; professional services firm experience preferred
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management,
communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building,
collaboration, and problem solving
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and
analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
- An eagerness to work on a variety of Federal & International
tax projects
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly
