  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations and journal entries to record financial activity
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results including variance explanations.
  • Prepare elimination and consolidation entries and analysis.
  • Create/review all accounting entries (general ledger, transaction account) related to input of new loans
  • Daily reconciliation of all loan systems
  • General ledger and subsidiary ledger reconciliation
  • Review, approve, and process financial transactions
  • Assist in annual and interim audits, providing supporting documentation and communicating with auditors
  • Ad hoc reporting and process documentation
  • Collaborate with a fast-paced team where independent thought and work-product is required.
  • Other duties as assignedRequired Experience:
    • Bachelor s degree in accounting required; CPA preferred; CFA and/or MBA a plus;
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting required; experience in commercial real estate loan accounting strongly preferred;
    • Interested candidates need demonstrated ability to:
    • Deliver excellent work product in a timely fashion with high attention to detail (solid Excel skills)
    • Collaborate well with others and develop strong relationships
    • Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and deliver a quality product under tight time constraints
