Title: JDE EnterpriseOne / Hyperion (Oracle EPM)

As part of the Enterprise Systems and Technical Development team,
the Sr. ERP Systems Administrator role is responsible for
successful implementation, maintenance, configuration, and support
of our client's Oracle ERP and EPM environments. Oftentimes this
resource will manage and coordinate internal and 3rd party
resources in conjunction to deliver end to end technology
solutions. This individual will play an integral part in the
day-to-day operations of development, test, QA, and production
environments for these Oracle based landscapes. In addition, this
role will support all peripheral infrastructure layers around RDBMS
SQL Server and the surrounding web tiers with WebLogic built inside
an AWS cloud landscape running on the latest Windows based
operating platforms. The successful candidate will have experience
troubleshooting system performance problems and delivering new
installations. Exposure to the latest Oracle ERP/EPM platforms in a
variety of OS and Database environments is required.
Scripting/automation, patching, and database performance tuning
experience is also integral for this role.
How you will impact with this role:
Responsible for administration, support, and ongoing maintenance
around the periphery of Oracle JDE ERP and EPM/Hyperion instances,
and all related technology within the environment.
Responsible for the administration, support, and ongoing
maintenance of affected Oracle virtual servers with WebLogic
running on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems on AWS
Responsible for the administration, support, and ongoing
maintenance of affected SQL Server instances running on Microsoft
Windows Server operating systems on AWS instances.
Assist with maintaining internal security, configuration, and
maintenance for the Oracle JDE 9.2 systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle ERP/EPM issues related to finance
activities like close cycles, annual budgets, forecasting.
Improve performance on current Oracle ERP/EPM implemented
Ensure that all Oracle ERP/EPM systems have adequate monitoring and
alert to pro-actively identify issues.
Ensure that all Oracle ERP/EPM systems have met annual disaster
recovery and BCP requirements for SOX.
Participate in Oracle ERP/EPM meetings and keep track of agreements
Developing reporting solutions around financial business processes
including budget creation, forecasting, and actualization of
budgets and forecasts.
Work with IT team members to generate and update technical
documentation as required.
Keep track of related project progress and generate project status
Maintain up to date and organized documentation for IT project
Report and follow up on issues and root cause resolution with
Oracle support and other vendors.
Conduct and participate in conference calls with hardware and
software vendors as required.
Evaluate and train on emerging Oracle ERP and performance
Pro-actively keep current and maintain familiarity with industry
Coordinating all upgrade, implementation, maintenance, and patching
activities for Oracle ERP/EPM suite in conjunction with 3rd party
consulting partners when necessary.
Support and enhance all latest Microsoft Operating System task
scheduling and automation techniques that exist inside our client's
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or
Six additional years of related experience may substitute for
Any Oracle ERP, CNC, or Cloud specific certifications for JDE, EPM,
Knowledge and use of Software Development Lifecycle in context of
IT technology deliverables.
Project management experience. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall,
Kanban. Knowledge to deploy the right methodology to resolve a
specific problem scenario. Involved in high priority projects by
managing projects from inception to execution within agreed upon
Experience in manufacturing environment and exposure to a variety
of integrated IT systems.
Supporting interfaces between various business and IT systems.
Oracle ERP/EPM technical skillset including installation,
configuration, maintenance, and tuning knowledge with on-the-job
industry experience (5 - 7 years).
Experience with current versions of Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2
and Oracle EPM 11.2.x.
Experience in supporting and maintaining environment for JDE
EnterpriseOne in a CNC administration capacity, including a core
knowledge supporting Oracle WebLogic.
Strong knowledge of the JDE EnterpriseOne Security framework -
creating users, roles, applying security in the workbench.
Strong knowledge of the JDE EnterpriseOne change management
deployment/package delivery and the OMW.
Skillset for patching entire Oracle ERP/EPM stack using OPatch for
open CVE's and PSU's.
Experience in supporting and maintaining infrastructure under
Hyperion Planning and (HFM) applications with Essbase cubes.
Experience with data loading including SQL load rules, and data
Ability to manage user security roles and access to members, forms,
and business rules.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and other RDBMS platforms
with strong T-SQL skills. BCP and SQLCMD.
Skilled with SQL performance tuning tools like SQL Sentry for
optimizing queries and routines.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Smart View.
Skilled in scripting in any languages a plus - Python/Jython,
Powershell, Windows Batch, REST/JSON, Groovy.
Strong problem-solving, research and analytical abilities,
accuracy, and detail orientation.
Broad technical knowledge, aptitude, and experience in the areas of
server administration, networks, workstations, business
intelligence application software and troubleshooting
Experience working actively inside Service Now ITIL framework - IT
Familiarity with working with F5 load balancer configurations with
HTTPS/SSL in place.
Experience building out and rightsizing AWS and Amazon specific
solutions (Proficiency with AWS Console).
Familiarity with audit and SOX compliancy for Oracle ERP/EPM
systems. Experience working with internal and external audit teams
to facilitate walkthroughs and evidence submissions.
Skillset that involves applying a Cyber Security mindset when
deploying Oracle ERP/EPM solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
