As a Senior QA Analyst on our Public Sector Financial Services team, you will support an early-phase project to pilot and implement an enterprise financial software system and web application for our government client. Working in an Agile environment, you will develop test case documentation and test scripts, execute according to a test plan, perform various types of testing (e.g., integration/Functional, Regression, End-to-End, Performance, UAT, and Smoke testing), support implementation of automated testing, and support simultaneous deployments.
Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and contribute to the creation, upkeep, and execution of all test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
  • Design and develop complete automated test coverage of the application
  • Follow testing standards, working with the team to minimize defects
  • Adhere to deadlines and communicate status and progress
  • Perform various types of testing (e.g., integration/Functional, Regression, End-to-End, Performance, UAT, and Smoke testing)
  • Perform root cause analysis with developers
  • Participate in peer and design reviews
  • Review and analyze complex programming specifications to test each application requirement properly and effectively
  • Conduct thorough defect analysis, document findings, and steps to reproduce
  • Demonstrate ability to support simultaneous deployments
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and designers to fully support the team
  • Communicate clearly with all team members and clients

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, QA engineering, or relevant field
    • Experience designing and developing test cases, test plans, and other associated QA related documentation
    • Expertise in manual & automated testing, documentation, and recreation and validation of issues or defects reported by the end users
    • Experience with application testing using Selenium and JMeter
    • Application security and vulnerabilities testing experience
    • Experience using Jira
    • Must have PostgreSQL or other RDBMS skills
    • Experience working in AWS or other cloud-based environment
    • Ability to follow established software development quality assurance standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement
    • Providing production support and suggest enhancements to existing business applications
    • Multi-tasking and communicating status regularly to ensure all deadlines are met
    • Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien
      • Experience working with Python/Django web-based applications
      • Cloud-based penetration testing and load testing experience
      • Familiarity with Protractor
      • Knowledge of 508 testing standards
