The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will
oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You
will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls
related to the company's financial accounts.
Maintain compliance with government agencies
Act as the point of contact for external auditors
Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial
Maintains and follows a documented system of accounting policies
and procedures which provide appropriate level of internal controls
and ensures general ledger accuracy.
Manage the recurring month closing process including bank or credit
card reconciliations, revenue or expense accruals, balance sheet
reconciliations, recording of in-kind activity, and preparation of
month-end journal entries.
Oversee the operations and internal controls of the client's
accounting department, such as the timely processing of accounts
payable and receivables, maintaining the chart of accounts,
maintaining the fixed asset schedule, complying with local, state,
and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, and
booking of payroll related entries.
Assist with the preparation of yearly schedules and other
accounting items to prepare for client's annual financial audit,
and coordinate the provision of information to external
Prepare period-end financial statements and reporting package of
the client for CFO review.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 2+ years of related
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word,
GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
