Cox Automotive is currently hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our Sales Finance team. This position is remote/work from home and can be located anywhere within the United States.
The Senior Data Analyst* *will use a variety of data platforms, data sources, and BI tools to develop and communicate meaningful business insights to various internal stakeholders, including the Financial Planning and Executive Leadership teams. We are looking for a hard-working and creative problem solver to join our dynamic team of analysts. The Sr. Data Analyst will work collaboratively with team members owning various stages of the data modeling process to iterate on and strengthen our data modeling and analytics capabilities. Subject matter will be initially focused on sales, financial performance, and client segmentation. A major focus of this position is the development and distribution of complex enterprise scale reporting through use of queries, BI tools, and Excel. In addition, ensure that enterprise reporting and analysis activities conform to the established data governance standards.

* What Youll Do:*
* Develop and maintain KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, and dynamic self-service user reports and dashboards with a focus on sales financial performance.
* Collaborate closely with members of the Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams to develop and maintain actionable data models.
* Partner with Development and Maintenance Teams on business rule changes and enhancements.
* Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand user needs and capture development requirements for dashboard creation; working iteratively with stakeholders to improve and expand existing reporting.
* Champion reporting quality, accuracy, usability, and reliability by documenting and applying best practices in development and implementation.
* Subject area analysis of data sources, data integrity, and data cleansing requirements.
* Help to identify and resolve data issues through root cause analysis.
* Create useful documentation, lead hands-on training, and support general understanding and usage by internal stakeholders of dashboard reporting, ad hoc analysis, and governed data models.
* Compensation:*
* Compensation includes a base salary of $72,000 - 100,900. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates experience.
* Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or and incentive program.

5 years of relevant experience
OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Preferred Experience:
Advanced degree in Data Analysis
Quantitative/statistical and data analysis experience
Strong knowledge and experience working with big data sets with several tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL.
Relevant experience with big data sets to perform extract, transform, load (ETL) processes.
Working knowledge of other Business Intelligence applications including Tableau, or PowerBI.
Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization concepts.
Exceptionally strong written, communication, and organizational skills.
5+ years prior experience working in a data focused role that includes, but is not limited to data management or analytical roles.
Strong working knowledge of Database solutions/Data Platforms (i.e. Snowflake, AWS, Vertica, Redshift).
Working knowledge of other BI/ETL related languages or tools (i.e. Python, R, Talend.)
Experience implementing complex logical calculations in in SQL and/or Excel.
