Job Description:
The Property Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting
operations of respective properties.Responsibilities* Prepare
monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, supporting
schedules, deficit requests, and monthly cash distribution
calculations for a portfolio of propertie* Prepare monthly journal
entries and maintain the general ledger* Assist with financial
statement audits and tax preparation by providing supporting
documentation and explanations to auditors/tax preparers * Assist
in annual budget and quarterly financial forecast
preparation.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 1 -
3 years of related experience* CPA and public accounting experience
preferred* Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, etc.)* Experience managing federal rewards* GAAP
knowledge* Yardi or MRI software experience preferred* Strong
written, verbal and collaboration skills
