Responsibilities:
DHG is seeking a senior associate specializing in state income and franchise tax. Qualified candidate should have experience with large multi-state C-corporations, combined / consolidated filing issues, and ASC 740. Experience with tax compliance softwares such as OneSource and CorpTax strongly preferred. Candidate should have experience with both compliance and consulting.The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to be based in either Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities will include:

• Serving on engagement teams for large C Corp clients
• Serving on consulting engagements involving issues including, but not limited to the following
  • Nexus Analysis
  • Apportionment Planning / Revenue Sourcing
  • Restructuring
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Researching current state tax matters and assisting with development of white papers / presentations.
  • Developing strong client relationships#LI-BN Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
    • Advanced degree in business, tax or law preferred
    • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience required
    • Experience in sales/use tax and credits and incentives preferred
    • Strong project management and practice development skills required
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills required
    • High level of proficiency in MS Office with advanced understanding of MS Excel required
