Job Description:
Duties: Plan and execute the most effective demonstration
environments to showcase Aptean products globally in on-site product
demonstrations at prospect and customer locations. Manage the global
demonstration environments with proper backups and contingency demonstration
environments available with internet connection in case of failure in the
field. Manage the rollout of new releases and service packs to update global
solution consulting demonstration environments in a timely and efficient
manner. Work closely with Product Management, Development and Go To
Market departments for the planning of new releases and technologies.
Integrate various Aptean products and OEM products for demonstration
environments. Technical Support of Application Solution Consultants and
their demonstration environments. Provide prototype proof of
concept enhancements for specific customer requests during the sales
evaluation process. Train Application Solution Consultants in Aptean
technologies and Technical Applications so that Application Consultants can make
first level presentations of technical applications and answer basic
technical questions. Manage Hardware Sizing tools and provide Hardware
Sizing documents to customers and prospects for both sales to new
customers and additional products to existing customers. Technical solution
consulting of “Technology” applications including but not limited to
Workflow (Business Process Management and Event Management Framework)
Business Intelligence (EPM) and Document Management. Develop and update
the Aptean Technology presentation for sales purposes. Work with Aptean
Account Executives and Application Solution Consultants to present our
technology story and answer questions for both new and existing customers.
Work closely with Aptean Professional Services for handoff and
turnover of accounts. Participation in both onsite and WebEx
presentations. Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or
Business Information Systems (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) as well as 5 years of experience in Job Offered or 5 years of
experience in professional or presales services for technology with ERP
solutions or, alternatively, a Master of Science degree in Business
Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or
Business Information Systems (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) and 3 years of experience as noted above. Also requires Demonstrated
Expertise (‘DE’) in the Microsoft technology stack, including .Net and
Visual Studio, SQL Server/Oracle database administration, and SharePoint web
development and the ability to write SQL scripts for Oracle/SQL Server
databases; DE in virtualization and infrastructure design and deployment; DE
applying emerging technologies on new Operating System platforms, new
database releases, and new mobile technologies such as IOS, Windows
mobile, and Android OS to demonstration environments as part of solution
consulting Proof of Concept; and DE serving as implementation lead on
individual ERP, CRM, or SCM software implementations, including analysis of
project scope, technical phase resource allocation, resource management, and
