How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The primary responsibility is to understand the business goals and
needs of the organization and develop HR strategies and initiatives
to support the goals. The HRD provides guidance and advises
management on Human Resource opportunities and challenges in
compliance of Company policies and federal, state and local
regulations. They also propose solutions to improve organizational
effectiveness across the specified business, through effective
coordination and collaboration with the Airgas HR Centers of
Expertise (CoEs) - Talent Acquisition ("TA"), Talent Management
("TM"), Employee Relations & Compliance ("ER&C"), and Total
Rewards ("TR") - to ensure best delivery of HR services to business
leaders.
Proactive Partner to the Business.
Human Capital Utilization.
Big Picture Focused.
Consultant to the Business.
HR Scale. Performs limited administrative tasks, using HR
Operations and CoEs to scale HR activities; directs Associates to
portals and self-service options.
HR Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). Participates on M&A teams
as needed; leads HR related M&A activities.
Risk Management. Proactively identifies risks and brings options to
the team, including the business, CoEs, Airgas.
